Public Sector leaders across the world are facing numerous challenges due to the impact of new technologies and particularly AI. The core skills and competencies which need to be embraced to adapt to a new governance challenge and the responsibilities of the public functions require specific trainings and capacity building.

The Future Government Fellowship 2026 is an international fellowship that empowers senior public sector leaders to anticipate, shape, and govern technological change with foresight and integrity.

Senior government officials wanting to better understand how to lead in the public sector in a technology-driven world.

Expected Outcomes
By graduation, Fellows will:

  1. Build foresight and futures literacy
  2. Understand critical emerging technologies
  3. Anticipate risks and governance implications
  4. Design future-ready strategies for their institutions
  5. Join a global network of peers shaping technology for the public good

Content
The curriculum is tailored to maximize learning among peer public sector executives and experts and ensure practical application along with exposure to the world’s best expertise in foresight, technology governance and key technology trends.

Format
Designed to be compatible with a full time role, the fellowship will mix in-person and experiential learning with interactive classroom modules, peer to peer learning with experts and well known government leaders.
